What would be the outcome if I had submitted the previous application fee?

Generally, applicants who submit complete applications to IRCC before a fee increase will not be impacted by the adjustment. Online applications receive immediate confirmation, whereas those sent by mail may encounter delays. Provided that the applicant has paid the previous fee, submitted a complete application, and mailed it before the fee adjustment, the application will not be denied. Should any further payment be necessary, IRCC will issue the appropriate instructions.
