The NWT Business Stream is still open for new applications throughout 2024. The NWT PNP is scheduled to reopen for fresh applications in 2025. In the second quarter of 2024, international migration to the NWT hit an all-time high.

2024 (as of July): Over 300
2023: 139
There has been a remarkable surge in interest this year. In 2024, the NWT has already issued over twice as many nominations as it did in 2023.
The Northwest Domains is serious about raising the assignment for the year 2025:
The NWT has seen a rise in international migration over the past few years, beginning in 2020. Between April and June 2024, international migration to the NWT hit a record high.
Since late 2020, the NWT has experienced a development in net worldwide relocation. By the second quarter of 2024, it had reached its highest level since comparable data.
